I had a lovely park session with Aimee, her hubby, and their two adorable girls! Truly enjoyed meeting this gorgeous family! We had a day that was sunny but encountered some on-and-off sprinkles and the girls were so great about the little bit of rain as we hid under some trees for cover! And how aorable are the outfits Aimee put together – love the complimentary colors!
I had an absolute blast spending last Sunday evening in Riley Park with Deanna, Curtis and their three adorable children. The kids were a bundle of energy and had a blast playing in the beautiful gardens and chasing bunnies. Deanna and Curtis were visiting Alberta from Saskatchewan and it was a pleasure to be chosen as their family photographer. I hope you enjoy your photos – you are an adorable family!

It’s time to catch up on blog posts around here! And I thought, what better a post to start with than Aly & Trent’s gorgeous maternity session last spring. Can’t believe their beautiful little girl Tenley is almost one years old already!
Our maternity session took place at Fish Creek Park and we had the most gorgeous end-of-day light.
Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a gorgeous model (Alina Cox) and one of my favorite hair & makeup artists (Crystal Cruz). With a dream time like that, you can bet we came out of the day with a gazillion gorgeous photos! Here’s a few I’ve selected for the blog. Enjoy!
Ohmygosh! I’ve been so busy lately, but it’s about time I got around to blogging these two!
Twyla is my absolute best friend in the entire world. Has been since we were just crazy teenagers growing up together in a small town! Needless to say, it was an absolute honor for me to shoot engagement photos for herself and her wonderful fiance Jamie.
These two live in Saskatoon, but Calgary is very near and dear to Twy’s heart. So are the mountains, so we decided to head out for a wander in the natural beauty of Canmore to capture their session.
These two are the definition of “IN LOVE” – each time I told them to snuggle, kiss, and hold each other, they did so more than enthusiastically! Their love for each other is so, so very obvious and I can’t believe their wedding is in just over a month.
Congratulations Jamie & Twyla – you are so close to me you are pretty much family and it will be an honor to stand next to you as you say “I Do!”
Dorothy and Jared are such a sweet couple, and I was stoked when they requested their engagement photo session to take place in Banff National Park! I absolutely love trips to the mountains, and it was such a perfect environment to capture these two lovebirds in.
Dorothy & Jared had a very specific photo in mind that they wanted to create for their Save the Dates for their wedding guests, and as soon as I heard that it involved sparkly red shoes and hockey (Jared’s fave), I was all over it! (Dorothy, who is from Kansas..and red heels! Get it? So super cute!)

Misty is one gorgeous, glowing, stunningly beautiful mama-to-be! She’s gorgeous to begin with, but pregnancy looks incredibly good on her. And that big baby bump on her petite little body? ADORABLE!
We ventured out to one of my favorite fields to photograph in as the sun began to dip behind the horizon. This day, though gorgeous and warm for Calgary in March, was INCREDIBLY windy. At least a 50km/h constant wind, with gusts of up to 90km/h. Misty was such a trooper – she put on the super long chiffon maternity gown and flower crown I put together for her session and didn’t complain once, even when the wind was whipping her around, or when I had to keep stopping to run over and fix her hair, fix her dress, etc.
Thanks so much to this beautiful mama for your patience and constant positive spirit – the outcome was worth it, and you look amazing!

Megan and Simo are an absolute match made in heaven. That’s a bold statement, but throughout their entire engagement session, their love for each other was just so evident. And, I mean, just look at the two of them! Picture perfect.
We were blessed beyond belief with the most beautiful light streaming through the fields at Fish Creek Park (not to mention that sunset at the end!), and I couldn’t stop shooting them. So, forgive me for the including SO MANY photos in their blog post, but I just couldn’t help myself – gorgeous couple so obviously in love, soft and beautiful warm autumn light – a photographer’s dream come true.
Congratulations on your engagement, Simo & Megan! I’m so happy for the two of you and lucky to call you guys friends.

I may have totally stolen that quote from Lauren’s Facebook from when she posted these photos for her friends and family to see, but it’s absolutely suiting for this adorable family session!
Lauren, her hubby Carmine, and their two beautiful little girls Sophia and Mya met me on a Sunday afternoon just as the weather was starting to get chilly, so we only had about 15 minutes to capture this beautiful family. However, with little girls with faces of angels like these two little sweeties, it’s pretty difficult to go wrong!
I thought it was adorable and meaningful that Lauren chose to shoot her family portraits in the same location where they had their wedding photos done!
